How wonderful that you have a holiday ahead of you! A first holiday with your baby is a whole new experience and requires a lot of preparation. When our children were born, we lived in Asia, which meant we were travelling a lot with our little ones. This inspired us to create products that make it just that little bit easier for you to go on adventures with your family. We also experienced what is handy to always have with you when you go out with your little one. To make the preparation a little easier, we have compiled a list in this blog so you don’t forget anything and you can enjoy the holiday carefree!
Taking a changing bag on holiday
On the way to your holiday destination, it’s important to have a well-stocked nappy bag/mommy bag for changing and feeding. This way you can always act quickly should you need something. Make sure you have at least the following items in your nappy bag:
- Nappies
- Bottom cream
- Towelies
- Rollable changing mat
- Hydrophilic towel/whitening cloth
- Extra set of clothes
- Rubbish bags for the nappies and dirty clothes
- Milk powder in a measuring cup and thermos with boiled water, if necessary
- Drinking bottle
- Dummy if necessary (tip: take an extra one with you in your bag)
- Cuddly toy

Clothing for your baby on holiday
Check the climate and weather forecast at your holiday destination. If you go to a warm area, for example, it is wise to bring extra thin clothing and sleeping bags. Sunscreen alone is often not enough, nor is it applied properly. It is therefore wise for sensitive baby skin to bring special UV-protective clothing.
